Re live the show by reading Room 7 student’s highlights of their time on stage at the Regent Theatre for Parkland and The 7 Values, August 19th.

Show Time

I looked out to the beaming bright stage.  Aimee bolted up to me
“I’m going to be narrator with you!”  She told me excitedly.   We were both very nervous like little jittery butterfly’s.  I was thinking this is my first time speaking in front of an enormous crowd.
Finally the kapa haka boomed out shouting.  What an amazing performance they did. We crept on stage waiting to start speaking. Parkland and the 7 values were waiting behind us ready for us to start off the whole production my palms started sweating I felt like the microphone was going to just slip out of my hands.  I held on tightly like a koala gripping onto a tree when it was my turn I was a bird chattering away Nice and slow I told myself. Standing on the regent stage I was delighted to be out there. When I got off stage I was so amazed at myself.  I just couldn’t wait for my bit at the end.  More and more classes went off and on stage.  It was now the end of it and we were going on stage to finish it.  I did my best and everything turned out fine.  Now I was sitting on stage with the curtains shut and the beaming bright lights were shining on me I realised it was all over.

Parkland and the 7 Values

Here it was Parkland and the 7 values Parkland’s production at the Regent Theatre.
BOOM! BANG! That’s what I could hear being back stage with the Kapa Haka   performing. But just then it went silent for half a second … Then the crowd went wild. I thought that was amazing I cheered and clapped.
Half an hour later. It was our turn… Little Red and Little Blue. Everybody ready Grab your skate boards GO! GO!  I could here so I walk on stage. The crowed was huge Man I didn’t feel so good any more. Who cares let’s do this.
WOW! That was amazing finally I got home and got some sleep.
So everyone lived happily ever after get because it was based on fairy tales.

Parkland And The Seven Values

I so wanted to do the production! I thought to myself but I couldn't because of an accident on Saturday.  But I was lucky that I could see all of the hard work we put in to it. Not just Rooms 7 and 14 but all the classes in Parkland School. There were still butterflies in my stomach for some reason! First was Kapa haka. The audience was cheering like thousands of people at the Lion King play in Australia (along with me of course). Next up was Parkland and the Seven Values themselves. They were so funny with all there different personality’s and different skill. Yet they all looked up to Rise to the Challenge. After the seven values went off Rooms 2 and 12 were on, and there twist was Rapunzel. This is another time I got nervous because this is my brothers class! (Once the performance was over) Wow Ty was great, that went better than expected! I thought to myself with relief. Next two classes were Rooms 1 and 10 and I know for a fact this one is going to be funny because… there junior class rooms J Plus there twist is Old MacDonald had a farm. Ohhhhhhh so cute!!!!!!!!!!!!! A few class rooms later finely were on to my class, as I thought at the start I so want do the production!
